go to www.microsoft.com, then click on "downloads".
you'll find it there.

But i would download with caution:
This is the FIRST version of Window's Vista they are releasing.
So, there still may be bugs in it. Why do you think they are just giving it away?
So you and everyone else can find out whats wrong and tell them about it. Its like having free computer testers.
But if you want to be a 'tester' go for it!
I personally, would wait a year or so - then they'll have most of the bugs out.

you cannot download it any longer. the download ended in october 2006. the final version will come out on january 30 2007.

No. you cannot download it anymore.
The Microsoft Customer Review Program (CRP) has ended.
Therfore, Vista can no longer be downloaded legally.
