A few weeks ago we installed IE7 on our computer with an ethernet connection, and a few days later the internet stopped working for that computer.
Later we installed IE7 on the computer with a USB connection (the internet was working fine on that), and after a few minutes the internet stopped working on that completely as well.
The router is working perfectly, both computers are connected to broadband, but nothing using the internet works. BT told us that IE7 could corrupt the drivers and we were told to uninstall IE7 and reinstall the drivers, but so far the problem remains, and we have not been able to use broadband to access the internet for a week now (I'm using a dial up connection here).
Has anyone else experienced this problem, and if so, how is it possible to fix it?
