dont think I asked the right question - the movie I have downloaded is in 2 CD folders - when I do the encoding using AVI2DVD I think I can only do one at a time (or not?) - don't know how to do the encoding bit on both files so they will both be able to go on to the same DVD - I am new to this so a bit stupid lol - thanks guys

Try merging the 2 files together. This way you will have one file to convert to dvd. Here is a list of softwares you can download:

Methinks you need to use some video editing software, such as ulead, dazzle, movie plus, to splice both parts together as a new file, unless you want to keep them as separate files... Save this as an AVI and then encode using AVI2DVD... Otherwise, move the 2 files into the one folder and encode from there... Good luck...
