my server won't show up and i can't log on into the internet. the good thing is , we have 2 computers in the house sharing a router. my computer comes online once the other computer logs in to our server. i lived in japan using a japanese xp home and the ie7 is in english... a problem with mcafee? or with the ie7? please somebody help me!!! i used to have norton internet security then i switched to mcafee, does it ring a bell? they're both japanese versions....

i think maybe u should format your computer if it that bad. As for mcaffee and ie7 i don't think they have a compatibility problem,but if you want the best browser that is better than ie7 then get mozilla firefox

my position is also just like u, i installed the mcafee and after ie7 but i have no problem (my window is also xp home)

if u have any problem than uninstall both, and install again,
dont installed the ie7, after some days if u have not any problem than u can install ie7.

I sounds like a software conflict like two software firewalls running at the same time. Try disabling ALL firewalls and running Registry Mechanic to clean up your registry. If that works, settle on one firewall after everything is running ok. I don't like Microsoft's XP firewall because it doesn't have as many options to control local network traffic as Zone Alarm Pro does.

Uninstall your IE7, the samething happened to me.
