Yes you need. But from ADOBE you will have to pay. There are many free softwares that do the same for free. They will install an icon on your - for example - WORD (by Microsoft) and when you click, it will transform your document.DOC into a document.PDF. Hope it helps.

Reader only reads PDF, you need Acobat professional or adobe illustrator to create PDF. if you only want use for few days, try to download the trail version of them at adobe website at www.adobe.com

Prez say you cant use adobe reader to created PDF reports. Prez say you go to Adobe website and they have feature where you can do a free trial and creat document in MS Word and transfer to PDF. Prez say proper software expensive in order to make PDF documents. Prez does stuff like this for living. Prez better know!

You can print PDFs from word documents for free with CutePDF printer and GhostScript. See the link.

If you want to create the PDFs from scratch you will need Adobe Acrobat Standard, which costs money.

Open Office is a free, open-source solution which allows you to generate PDF files from other formats (such as spreadsheets, documents, text, etc.).

It is very robust and is an excellent alternative to Microsoft Office.

no, free edition cant. you can create document by buying it at www.adobe.com. You can use wordoffice X3 also
