HI..Please help! My start page is being redirected to this awarninglist.com, and i can not make it go away. I also get a pop up that says i am infected with something called W32.Myzor.FK@yf i can't get away form this thing! Thanks T.

if anyones familiar with the program big brother, it records your chat logs, takes a screen shot every 5 minutes and records all activity on your computer. now, i don't know the password to get into the program, is there anyway to disable it?

returned it to me.i thanked her but never saw her again.this month i saw my credit card bill came too much.i think she must have noted credit card number and using it online.is there any possibility so that i can trace her or know what she purchased?pl help.thanks.i have stopped payment of my old credit card.

Does anyone know where I can send an email I received from a person I don't know. To see if it is a spam. I receive my email through outlook express. Tried them didn't work. The subject of the email says something about the "Terriost Attact." I did not open it. Sound suspious.

I believe my system used to update automatically, but the last time it updated was more than a month ago. I am using an older IBM thinkpad, with a dial up connection if that amkes any difference.

It has been going through a "completed" folder that has stacks of different files, programs, tv shows and a lot of other crap, it says that the folder is in our documents & Settings folder but there is no folder called completed ive even done a search for it with nothing coming up.
Whats going on? where are all these files and programs coming from? The Virus scan has been going all night cleaning all this stuff. Can anyone help me find out whats going on id be very appreciative, Thanks!!

I've read where I shouldn't have 2 firewalls turned on, and my "windows" firewall automatically turns itself off......Is that because I have "Norton Security"?.........I turn it back on because, there have been a few times when I have gone to turn my computer off, and I get the message" Others are logged on to this computer.etc.etc.etc. ( I'm the only one home at the time, and NO one else is or has used this computer!! Sure enough I check my windows firewall and its off. Is'nt the Norton suppose to protect me..... I'm afraid to leave the "Windows firewall off"

since i started downloading movies with limewire last week my computer has been running real slow. and with the internet explorer some pop up advertisements come out. also when i change a website a new window comes up with a pop up. i have windows defender and norton antispyware on my pc and both of these programs detect the spyware that has been causing all these pop ups but when i click to remove them but after a little while they are back. i try to delete these sypware again and after removing it in 5 minutes it comes back. what can i do.

I had a customer bring me a very odd problem today. Their laptop is steadily filling up with small files full of non-text gibberish, each one called something like "abcdefgh.t" Always a short string of random characters, then a .t

Looks like one is being created every minute or so... and from time to time there will be one of those "program had a problem and has to end" popups, referencing a program "tncqrswe.t"

Anyone seen this before?
Any clues, please?

What free anti-virus software is better to install on an older PC using Windows 98 SE for it's OS? I am trying to decide between AOL Active Virus Shirld developed by Kaspersky, and, Grisoft's AVG Anti-Virus Free 7.1. Most of the revues I have been able to find say the AOL system is better. But, when I ask around, most people say the AVG system. I am totally confused. Please help if you have experience with either system. Thanks!!

I am currently running my P.C. on windows XP. I got a load of Viruses/Spyware in my computer and used Antispyware to take care of the problem. The trouble i am having is that when i try to get my Yahoo home page i keep getting a warning hat directs me to a page that is forcing me to buy a program called Malware/Antivermin which I dont want/ need. Any one that can tell me how to get rid of the annoying page and back home will have a friend for life thanks to all who took the time to read and answer this Q.
