I currently have Kaspersky anti virus alongside with Ad-Aware, Spybot, Defender, AVG Anti spyware, and CCleaner. I seem to have all the security basis covered except that I need a firewall. ZoneAlarm and Kerio have conflicts with Kaspersky. I have heard of Comodo however I have no idea whether it is safe, reliable, trustworthy?

I want something good and free. Please advise. Regards.

I have 2 computers, and awhile ago I was removing some virus with avg free, it told me i needed to restart (said that winlogon.exe was healed but had to restart to take effect),, after the reboot It loads the windows xp splash screen, then the screen goes blank, usually at the point where the monitor changes resolution and says welcome, and then restarts...Ive tried every method to boot with using f8, all with the same result...Now that Ive got the hard drive in this pc, ive ran 2 different virus and 2 different spyware/malware programs, and the drive *appears* to be clean..Is there anything i could maybe do to the registry, or somehow do a restore on the drive while in this pc?? Trying to get out of doing a wipe...And also I've tried to boot unsing the xp cd, and for some reason it doesnt detect that its a bootable cd....So am I screwed here or not? First to help gets 10 points thanks in advance...

whenever I restart my computer, it asks for a password...before it was the windows xp screen where i clicked my name and typed it in but then i didnt want to have to do that so I went into control panel and deleted my password...but guess what..it still asks for it...i've tried everything, changed the password, backspaced it, etc so now i have to just enter a blank password and press ok (now it is like a box that pops up not the xp screen)...how do I fix this it's so annoying!

Don't try to convince me into sticking with Firefox. I've used it for years, it's good, but is there any browser that can run websites faster, has more features, doesn't crash much, etc?

I need a browser that can actually suit my computer's needs:

MY TECH SPECS:

128MB Ram
32MB Graphics Card (I don't think you need to know this, but I wanted to tell you how low it is)
Goes up to 24bit (Sometimes things prefer 32.. not fair at all)
1GHZ Processor

40GB Hard drive
Windows XP Pro

DON'T TELL ME TO GET OPERA EITHER.. Unless there is for a fact nothing better than opera, then psh.. But you have to know, not just guess and give out your opinion and beliefs.. I mean, something's better than Firefox at every way possible.. there has to be a browser..

I recently installed the AT&T Online Protection that includes, Anti-spy, Anti-virus, Etc. But I also had Norton AntiVirus, and now only my Sbc AntiSpy works because whenever I want to scan for viruses, a window appears that I have to delete Norton AntiVirus, and when I try deleting it, another window appears that says, "This MSI must be launched through setup." What does this mean? And how can I delete it so my Sbc Antivirus will work?

I have broadband internet connection configured as L2TP. I have Kerio Personal firewall installed on my computer. I can't understand how to configure that firewall to allow L2TP communication with my ISP. The problem is that with firewall up and running I can't connect to ISP. Without firewall I have no problems to connect to ISP. I am using Windows 2000.

I have literately been clicking the "ok" button for more than an hour. Let say an average of about 3 clicks per sec, so over 5400 infected files. Most of the files are deleted automatically. So I am more patient than some, my finger is sore, and I just want back my normal life. Can someone help me?

All my passwords were tresspassed by Canadian's Hackers.

In Canada, the Government and police are the masters of the criminial organiztions; so it is impossible the courts, who leaning toward police, charge the crimes against computer LAW which is very serious crime in USA.

Therefore, I must keep changing my passwords yet, i can see that all my emails are stolen by police, or after inspections, they may forward few of them...

One of the signs that I get, is that my passwords appearing on the 'Address window'...along with the http:// ....address...

I also checked that even Canadian Police many times attempted to steal my Master Card or Vias card number, that caused me problem with those cards.

My question is what is the safest way...is it typing is more secure..or just a 'fast copy and paste' of passwods... It is safer to keep passwords on Dics, or just write it in a notebook...

Is it any 'Email' system more secure than others, Hotmail, Gmail, AOL, Yahoo...
