how can iturn off my firewall?

Go to Start---Control Panel---Security Center---Windows Firewall---and check Off(Not Recommended) thats if you have Windows Firewall...I'm not sure if any other ones are in the same spot...

Turn off your firewall by... My Computer>Control Panel>Security Center>Select Windows Firewall at the bottom and select off.

Many times you can just right click on the icon next to your clock and then shutdown or something similar.
