The Microsoft security seems to be downloading and updating constantly. Does this do the same thing as the anti-virus software such as Symantec?

Norton Anti-Virus came with my computer, and I guess it has been OK. Last week I got a pop-up message that "one item" was affecting my (security) status - meaning a full scan or "sweep." I stopped what I was doing and the scan got to a certain number of items checked, when the computer crashed. About two days later I got the same message, and I stopped everything and let it scan - and when it got close to the same number of items, the computer crashed again. I am beginning to think that there is a virus, or adware or something which has a trip-wire out, so that a scan (by anyone) will end in a crash before the malware is discovered. Should I tell Norton? If so, how do I do it?

So I bidded on an item and won it. I then buy the item right after. Next day i look and see that i have to buy that item again. I was freaked out. The seller said that they accidentally declined my payment. Do you think is a scam or are they really telling the truth. Please answer as fast as possible.

I think I know who the person is, but I can't be sure. They have changed my secret question and answer, so I have absolutly no way of getting back in. I have created a new email account with yahoo, but I would like to have the other one deleted so that the person who hacked into won't have access to my personal information. I don't know how to get into contact with yahoo to resolve this issue. Can anyone give me some advice please?
