So I bidded on an item and won it. I then buy the item right after. Next day i look and see that i have to buy that item again. I was freaked out. The seller said that they accidentally declined my payment. Do you think is a scam or are they really telling the truth. Please answer as fast as possible.

I am sure your method of payment was Paypal. Go to your Paypal account and go to history. Your transaction should be shown there. It's possible that the seller can accidently decline (it's happened to me). Did you check the sellers feedback? That should tell you if its a reputable seller. If there is good communication with the seller, ask them and then take it from there.

One more thing, there is a scam going around asking people to sign onto their account through email. DO NOT GO THROUGH EMAIL. Always check your messages on your "My Ebay" tab.

I don't think you can 'decline' a bid, unless specified that there is a reserve... If you believe you are being scammed e-mail Ebay to have the situation handled in a proper manner

Yeah,, even if they accidentaly declined your payment. You are still entitled to repay and receive that product. Contact Ebay immediately.

There is a delay in eBay, sometimes you will pay right after a auction and two hours or one day later it will show unpaid then people pay twice.

You hadn't mentioned your method of payment. If you used Paypal, you can go into your Paypal account and see if the money was drafted and paid to them.

Just contact the E-bay administrator and let them handle the situation before it's too late!
