How do I delete Quick time from my computer?

Question

I tried to add/remove in the control box, but it would not remove. everything else i ever tried to remove , removed not Quick time. i did a system restore that did not work either. i never get popups because i have good firewalls, yet it just down loaded on its own
any advise would be appreciated. or is quick time something good to have? can't others get into my computer through quick time?

You don't need to worry about it. Quicktime is for video viewing. You need it on some websites to view videos, content or music. You don't need to remove it. It's not dangerous. However if you do want to remove it go to my computer and go to c:\Program Files\Quicktime and just delete all the files if you can't do add/remove.

is the Quick time icon in the taskbat by the pc time if so right click it and click on exit
then click on start/run
type in the box
msconfig
then click on ok
now click on the startup tab
look in the list for
qttask
untick the box next to
it then click on apply & ok your have to restart the pc when your back at the desktop

look in the list for Quicktime right click on that folder then click on delete then
