Find an new cd key or restore the computer. I don't know any other way

I had uninstalled Norton months ago because it seemed to be a memory hog. I did a system restore last week and Norton came back as if the computer had just been purchased.
Look for info in "help and support" on the start menu:
"Standard Recovery - Also known as a partial recovery, this option recovers factory-shipped programs, drivers, and the operating system without affecting any data files that you may have created since purchasing the PC."

thts easy you need to remove the registry file for it...
go to start/ run type in regedit / press Enter
when window appears look at 2nd choice frmo left at top of window it says file put mouse over it it opens to a small cascading window slect and click on FIND let it run till it finds all the norton stuff . DELETE the NORTON files on left screen restart and poof you never had it ,,, can now reload it. or if your realy smart and want the best antivirus and registration for free... go to........
