i have read through the answers and all of them havent really helped you
to fix a browser hijack...first install 2 programs 1)spybot(http://www.safer-networking.org/) and adaware personal( http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/)...install these and run them...you should pick up some malware, clean whatever you find and then go into add/remove programs and look for any programs that you didnt install or dont look right, remove these, some will con you into leaving them on your p.c,,ignore this and just continue to remove them, you may need a reboot then,,,,then go back in add/remove programs and check that it is clear of any suspicious programs and then go to internet options to reset your homepage to your preffered choice
you should now think of upgrading your virus scanner to a program that will block browser hijacks,,,f-secure(http://www.f-secure.com/download-purchase/list.shtml,)
is a excellent program that will guard you against viruses, spyware, adware, rootkits, and of course browser hijacks
good luck

hi, there is some virus with your IE browser and the virus hack your IE. i recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can disable all virus to run, because the virus can only run on IE.

besides, firefox can block any any poppus and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE. as you know, most of the virus is spread throught internet and webpage.

firefox is much smaller than IE, so i run faster than IE.

download firefox for free:

"Security company" or adware? Sounds like you gotta do a good adware/spyware/virus sweep on your system, and be more careful in the future.

go to http://www.safer-networking.org and download spybot search and destroy v1.4 and run the software, remove anything it finds, reboot the computer, and it should be gone. also, go to the add/remove settings on the control panel and look to see if the software was installed legitimately, if so uninstall it first, then run spybot.

Start with SPYBOT...

You get it on DOWNLOAD.COM.

This just isn't a HOME PAGE change, is it?

If so you can fix that with Tools , internet options, General, Address - go to where you want and press USE CURRENT.

Use any good anti-spyware. Recommendations are "Microsoft anti-spyware". You can also try "Yahoo anti-spyware".
