Don't wast your money on Norton Anti Virus, it is a complete waste of time. It removes every Virus known to man, except whichever one you happen to have, and when you go to their help site, some freakin Indian wants $70 to tell you how to remove it.

If you don't already have AVG Free, get it and run it in Safe mode (From memory, press and hold F8 when you boot up).
If that doesn't get it, go to
www.majorgeeks.com
and have a look what they have to say on the subject.
Hope that helps

hi, malcc.exe is a disgusting and infamous virus. perhaps you can try Norton to remove the virus. but you need to pay for the software.

i also recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can disable all virus to run, because the virus can only run on IE.

besides, firefox can block any any poppus and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE. as you know, most of the virus is spread throught internet and webpage.

firefox is much smaller than IE, so i run faster than IE.

download firefox for free:

I don't know about this kind of virus but there is a best way to remove it, not only this virus but all the viruses in the computer, it is by formatting the computer, maybe your computer is at risk to viruses.

It's part of the Trojan, Calco. I would guess you could remove it with a spyware/antivirus program.

Don't know exactly what it is, but go to:
http://www.ewido.net/en/
and run their online scan. It'll find it, and then you can delete it.
