All of a sudden when I'm trying to browse, links open but are minimized. They've just started doing this so I have to maximize them all. How can I default them to open max????

Sometimes when i have music on in Windows Media Player or iTunes - the music goes all crackly and retarded if i scroll down a page in Internet Explorer, what could be the problem & how can i fix it?

When I turn on my computer a message box appears that says " bcmwltry can not be found............. Application failed to start because AegisE5.dll was not found. Reinstalling application may fix problem." It doesn't tell me how or what to install! As soon as i click okay or exit out of the message box it immediately appears again and won't let me do anything on it!

My computer keeps restarting on its own and after i log in it says it recovered from a serious something and I send the error report.I also scaned my computer with Norton Internet security and it says that it does not detect any viruses or anything.But still the computer restarts on its own.Someone please tell me a solution for this.

Someone moved it to the top, and I cannot move it back, its the one with the clock, and the buttons, and the start menu, and it shows active windows...Its on a windows XP

it seems that it doesnt catch any spelling errors i amek anymore. I dont know why... I'll spell a word wrong on purpose and type random letters and it wont underline it in red or say anything about it... I will hit spell check and it will say everything is typed right but there are words that are clearly typed incorrectly. Does anyone know why? for my report i am typing i needed the spell check but that didn't help and i ended up making mistakes and my report looked bad. Please help me! what is wrong with it?

My comp is running sluggish I have defraged, did disk cleanup, deleted cookies& temp files. I found a torrent file win32Intel_installexe and win32intel_Langpack_fr.e in my documents. Can someone tell me what they are? Should I delete them. I don't know what they are so I did not know if I should delete.

I already asked a questions about if i needed java.. Many said yes because I wasnt able to compose emails or view them, and having issues with other websites.. You also said to try system restore, but when i click that program, that also comes up blank. Any other suggestions..also.. whats the name of the java i should use? my charge icon on the top left of my screen has an 'x' in the middle and no longer tell me if my computer is charged or not. also when i clicked on it a couple of times to try to figure out what was wrong with the icon my entire computer shutdown. when i tried to restart it didnt restart until about the 5th time i tried, and then it started up slow. Then i went to itunes to play some music and when i tried to adjust the equalizer the computer shutdown, again. its been charging all day and seems to only crash when its not plugged into the outlet, but it should be more than charged. HELP this is a brand new computer, is it broken already????my pc used to do this all the time, its why i got the mac. help!!! why is my charge icon and equalizer crashing my computer and why is there an 'x' in the middle of the charge icon?!!??!?!?!?!?

i had this computer for 5 years and basically use it for hours each day. anyways, its windows XP; Hewelet Packard computer and i love my computer and all but its wicked slow, has A TON of viruses/spyware that come back every week even after i deleate them, has a broken cd-rom drive, and has overheating/fan problems.

i have 2 more years until i go off to college and my grandpa gets me a good laptop.

anyways, is it worth it to go get a new one for just 2 years?
and if so, whats a cheap one that works good to use for 2 years that isn't too hard for me to understand?

All of the Windows tabs such as the bottom task/startmenu, right-click menu, task bar on top of programs, etc are all blacked out, including the text. I can't see what I'm doing at all. Help!

Well, I know that it is practically impossible to fully protect yourself on myspace, so I was a little more than worried when one of my friends got one.

I know I cannot ask her to shut it down completely, but are there any ways she can better protect it? Security programs or something of the like?

I'd really appreciate it if you all could give me some sites with something to add added security to myspace, or just basic dos and donts for me to email to her.

I'm not trying to be over-protective, and I don't want people thinking I'm infringing on her right to do what she wants with her myspace, I just want her to be able to do what she wants SAFELY.

Recently I've been having loads of trouble with my computer its like its got a mind of its own.
It restarts itself whilst I'm in the middle of stuff,
the monitor crashes and now when I turn my computer on its scans for things. Today it said
"deleting corrupt attribute record" and "deleting orphan file record". Then it gives a percentage of files scanned I think. What does all of this mean.

A couple days ago I downloaded IrfanView, a free photo editor. But now our computer performs much slower, and it's not just while we're on the internet. I don't know if the problem is from this download or not, but it would be the logical answer, right? Is there anything I can do, besides uninstalling the program?
