I know about the compressed air etc. Can the board be opened up without causing a major problem? Is there a way to REALLY clean it. I hate all the dust and the compressed air doesn't really work that well.

Ok I put in my flashdrive into my computer to put pictures on it and it worked fine. I also connected my digital camera with the USB cord to get the pictures and it also worked fine. I took out the camera and the flashdrive. I just pulled out the flashdrive and forgot to safely remove it. Now it won't work and the camera doesn't work on it either. What happened and how can I fix it?

Also, when I put the flashdrive the second time it said that the USB driver wasn't fast enough but it would continue at a normal speed.

My brother was in the middle of playin some sort of computer game when all of the sudden the compter cut off on him. Rather, windows cut off. No bluescreen, No "windows is shutting down" nothing it just cut itself off. At the time the monitor was still recieving power and the screen test displayed floated about to prove that and the computers blue light was on indicating it was still operational. However, no access to windows. When he held the power button down and turned the computer back on it didnt start again. No lights, no fan from the power supply, no humms or buzzy noises, nothing. I opened up the computer and the light for the motherboard is still on. Could this be a bad power supply?

Ok, so here's my scenerio.

My motherboard has two EIDE slots, labeled EIDE1 & EIDE2. I was tinkering with my computer trying to check another Hard Drive that I have, and now I can't get it to work.

The Way I have it set up right now is EIDE1 has a cable coming out with the middle connecter going to the HD (Set to Master) and the CD/DVD Rom (Set to Slave).

The EIDE2 has a cable coming out with the end connecter going into the DVD-RW (Set to Slave).

I have switched the cables around all different ways, and I can't get the computer to detect the Primary Master, Primary Slave, Secondary Master or the Secondary Slave. What am I doing wrong?

I've recently bought a Mac, and i've had it for about 3 months, it didn't have internet however, but everything was running quietly and smoohly. I just got nternet about 2 days ago, and still everything ran perfectly. It was a little while ago where it started making this really loud noise... like a vacuum. It nevere did that before. What could that possibly be? I hope it's not a virus.

Ok, I have a MicroSD memory chip, and a Lexar USB thing that you put your chip into, then the Lexar thing into your USB drive. I have a Dell Latitude D800 Laptop. Everytime I connect the chip to my computer, a new drive shows up as USB Mass Storage device. That is what I want. However, when I try to drag and drop files into "Drive E: Removeable Disk", it says "Please Insert A Disk Into Drive E." It won't let me access the chip at all, or save files to it .It is acting like it is a CD drive without a CD in it. Please Help?

I have a Dell Demension 4400 with only a 250 watt power supply. I want to upgrade my video card to a higher end one but many require much higher than mine has. I've looked at specifically made dell power supplies and came to the conclusion that the price was just too high (80 dollars for only 350W). I've also heard that not all power supplies will fit in my case. So does anyone know a power supply 450W+ that will work for me?

Okay, I have an ISO image of windows vista ultimate (x86) for a 32bit processing system. I also have recently aquired a second hard drive (E:), which I have already put files and programs into. I have PowerISO on the second HD (E:), and I want to not only install Windows Vista, but switch my HDs and install vista on my second hard drive (E:) (well, actually, it will be my primary). I am basically aiming for installing vista by using PowerISO to mount the ISO image of Vista, moving all the files in my second drive (E:) to my first drive (C:), and switching my HDs so that my (E:) drive is now my master drive, and my (C:) drive is my back-up or secondary drive.

Note: my HDs are IDE interface, so the master/slave jumper configurations would be nice.

Basically what I'm asking is: is it possible to install Vista by mounting the image and restarting the computer?

Also, I need to know what to do about XPsp2, because I have heard that I cannot put vista on my computer while XP is on.TY
