I had the EXACT same problem with my mouse as well...
What did I do to fix it? I replaced it with a better mouse. Logitech MX310...I haven't had a problem with that happening since.

if you are using a laptop the touchpad maybe turning it off or some old batch files for the older mouse may be interfearing with this one. check the registry.

Get a new mouse.

there might be a short in you wire or connection
