Ok, here are the problems.

The most obvious one is the fact that it turns on, then after loading stuff from the bios, it resets. I tried to load from the windows CD, but I can't access it.

Here is a couple things I think it could be, either hard drive failure, or PSU. I installed a 120gig hard drive. It currently had an 80 gig as main, now it also has a 120 gig slave drive.

Ive been having problems for a little while. When I first got the computer 4 years ago, about a week or 2 after, I noticed an error that said "hard drive failure imminent." Even though it was brand new, and recently I figured out it was a Maxtor.

Certain problems ive had in the past are stuff like, losing administrative controls, things messing up and going really slow, internet downloading at 38kb instead of 180kb.

Now, could it be that the PSU is dead and shuts down the same spot everytime it starts? Or, could the main drive be fried?

Oh, and right as this all happened, I got a stop error...

My primary hard drive (C drive) is about to be full. It has less than 5GB of available memory and it's only 40GB.

I've heard that you should keep a 15% or 20% of space available on you primary drive....and if you don't, it will slow down your machine.

My secondary hard drive is a 250GB and has plenty of space.

Most of my photos, documents, and video are in "My Documents" which is on my C drive. "My documents" alone contains about 13GB of data.

I was hoping I could simply cut and paste "My documents" and move it to my secondary (F) hard drive. If so, how should I do that?

Is this advisable to do? Will it cause any problems?

Please advise. I need to make some space available on my C drive.

I have to put an ethernet card into my 10 yr old computer. I have the back cover off the computer, but I need to "punch out" the metal slot so the metal part of the ethernet card is sticking out. I see no screws there, so how do I get the metal slot out of the back cover? Am I making any sense?

I have to finish connecting the parts of my PC but I'm not sure where to plug in my SATA hard drive. Theres 6 ports on the MOBO labelled SATA 1-6, and another port labelled SATA RAID2.
These are the only ports which will accept the SATA cable. Which one do I use? For now I will only be using one hard drive.

I've wondered if there are stickers or if you can buy replacement keys or what the best solution is. I notice that different keyboards have the letters printed on different parts of the keys and obviously the colours also vary, so it seems like it would be tough to fix other than just replacing the whole thing-- I'd appreciate any input-- Thanks--

Hey
I just decided single core instead of dual core. But i am on a somewhat tight budget and i was just thinking if 512kb L2 cache would do the job for me? This will be used as a sometimes gaming computer, and file server.
