I have to finish connecting the parts of my PC but I'm not sure where to plug in my SATA hard drive. Theres 6 ports on the MOBO labelled SATA 1-6, and another port labelled SATA RAID2.
These are the only ports which will accept the SATA cable. Which one do I use? For now I will only be using one hard drive.

Sata-1 would be a good place for the primary drive. When you expand add to 2, 3 , etc.

It really doesn't matter what port you use... They're usually all connected to the same interface ship on the motherboard, so they all work the same.

Yeh use the first one, although if you are only using the one then i dont think it really matters.
