Try reinstalling your sound card drivers. If you dont have them, go to the manufacturers website and see if they are available to download.

HI,I had this problem I had to go to control panal,then I did an audio test and my speakers were not cheked so you might have to manually correct this setting,just go to sounds and other audio devices,also did you click on your icon it may be muted ,and you can also bring up your audio console make sure they r all on and (not muted and turned up ,you can adjust these as you like,it sounds like a simple setting oversight as it was in my case GOOD LUCK..........vonda
