If you have problems with your wrists, then you might want to try this. Listen to your typing teacher.. "wrists up". Personally, I don't care for the split layout. But it would be a matter of using it and getting used to it.

However many people do not use them because of the way they are shaped.

I was given one, I liked it, my wife and kids didn't, so I got rid of it. I didn't feel any benefit. I think if you spend lots of time typing it must help since your wrist are in a proper orientation. Get one, it's your money, if you don't like it, take it back. Cheers
