I recently short-circuited my new CPU while trying to link a cable to a share-box with another CPU. I have no back-up for the stuff in my new CPU and I'm worried if the files are lost for good. Does anyone have any idea if my stuff are retrievable although the CPU has been shot, probably to Hades?

Any help rendered is appreciated c",)

Thanks a lot..

USB Flash drives are NOT Memory Sticks. They are both different. People who call them Memory Sticks present themselfs as lamers and ignorant.

-Flash drives are USB, Memory Sticks are not.
-Memory Sticks are a trademark of Sony.

I ask because I'm wondering if maybe it means Maximum 512 MB, but it has to be 2 256MB sticks is this possible?

Also, if a mobo only supported 256mb then if you put a 512MB stick in there it should work right? Just with only the 256MB recognized right?

I understand that there has been quad sli released. Do i just buy 2x 7950 gx2 cards? If not what do i buy? And is quad sli better than and xtx x-fire setup? Xfire is better than just plain SLI.

When playing games like, Heroes of Might&Magic 3, or Broken Sword 1, that play sound from CD(not audio cd, they're in wav/mp3 or video format), the sound comes out "choppy". My driver is LG CD-Writer.
I copied the sound files to my Hard Disk and played them without problems, so I'm guessing it has something to do with my CD-ROM driver "reading" sound files. But there are no problems when playing video, copying files, burning CD, etc. So I thought problem was not caused by the driver's optic reader, or whatever it's called.
There are sometimes problems playing music from CD using Winamp or Media Player, but the sound doesn't come out choppy like in the games.
Thank you for your time.
