This is the age old question, Apple or PC? I am conteplting making the switch to Apple but unshure yet. I have experienced Apples at various times of my life and most reciently at Kinko's and was impressed at its ease of use. Please state vaid reasons why.

I plugged in some speakers in my computer and I faintly hear a local radio station coming thru with static in the background. There is nothing playing on my computer either! When I play my own music on the computer, the radio is still playing in the background! Its so annoying! HELP!

My computer is hanging after every 5 or 10 minutes and some time when i turn its power on its does not even shows the display on the moniter.I have checked every component of my computer and installed so many of the diagonostic softwares but they all show a fully functional computer components.Please help me i have got lot of work with my computer?

I'm trying to partition an external hard drive so my old mac will recognize it. Thing is... I want to use it on both my mac and HP running windows XP. There is nothing on a mac that will partition the drive and have it compatible with windows, and I can't find anything for the latter. Any helpful advice out there?

Every time I plug a flash drive into my WORK laptop, I need to assign it a drive letter through the Disk Administrator. It doesn't require this with USB hard drives, and the same flash drives work fine on my home PCs. Any ideas?

i was thinking of getting one because mp pc memory is low but before i do i need to know some things. what can i put on it? like can i install pc games to it and they will run the same way? will i have 2 desktops if i get one? can i download stuff from the internet straight to it? can i share files from it? do they need to be plugged in or does it get powered by usb? is there a chance that files can get lost while transfering from my main hard drive to the external one

Windows will not recognize the drive, I tried to find it in disk management and I will not show up. It is powering up just fine. I believe that it may be a problem with the external hard drive being unable to transfer the info to the computer; I have tried a new USB cable and power supply as well as another computer with no luck. I am aware that I can remove the hard drive from the case and install internally, however I am looking for another alternative.Lacie is no help as I have lost the receipt. Any Ideas? Thanks
