Could your pc be damaged just by overclocking or is it just extra heat generation that causes the damage?

whenever i tend to start my pc it goes to sleep mode or suspend mode and keep restarting. Once in a while it starts but often it the problem occurs? i scanned it with AVG and Lavasoft and no use. Still struglling to find the right solution? any help?

Can anyone tell me how much power the internal parts of a computer use. For example, a case fan might use 5 watts, a hard drive may use 20, etc. I read an article before that listed EVERY single internal computer part and approximately how much power they all used in watts. and I cant seem to find anything on the net that might be something like that.

i have a new bluetooth enabled logitech V270 coordless mouse. my notebook came with bluetooth hardware installed, however there is no device drivers. i have downloaded device drivers and none of them seem to work. it asks me to "plug the device into the computer," which is totally wrong because it is a wireless mouse w/o an adapter or docking station. I need help!!! Is there some kind of driver i can get that actually works...?

I have Windows XP Professional. My computer had a virus in April of this year. Luckily, that was taken care of, but now everytime I turn on the computer a blue screen pops up. The blue screen said Chkdsk. It said that the computer was checking a disk for any problems. I have a chance to press any key on the keyboard to stop it, and I did let it check it. A lot of things work fine on my computer, but when I try to Defragment something it says: "Disk Defragmenter has detected that Chkdsk is scheduled to run on the volume: C:
Please run Chkdsk /f." So i go to the command prompt, and type in chkdsk /f, and it says: "THE TYPE OF FILE SYSTEM IS NTFS. CANNOT LOCK CURRENT DRIVE. CHKDSK CANNOT RUN BECAUSE THE VOLUME IS IN USE BY ANOTHER PROCESS. WOULD YOU LIKE THIS VOLUME TO BE CHECK THE NEXT TIME THE SYSTEM RESTARTS?" I do not have by the way, a Microsoft XP CD. Please, help me with this. I am looking for the best answer ever, step by step! PLEASE DO NOT TELL ME TO GO TO A COMPUTER WORKSHO
