My CD Burner no longer works even if I use a good quality of CD-R. I've tried all the remedies but none of them seemed to work. I just concluded that it is the drive that's not working when used as a burner. I don't hav money for a replacement. As much as possible, I'd like to have it fixed but is it possible?

After 200 the time between keypress and the characters appearance on the screen gets longer, up to 1.5 +/- seconds. Does anybody else have this problem?

The cf card is used mostly in digiatl camera to storage the image taken from the camera, however hot does this card exactly works and what would make one card faster then the other.

i recently bought a webcam. during installation, this error msg appeared, i ignored the message and continued installation. after rebooting my pc, all i can see on my desktop is my wallpaper (no icons, no start button, nothing). so i thought the webcam's software might have caused that problem. i re-installed windows and everything went back to normal. ive tried to re-install the software but the same error msg appeared. now im scared to install it. what should i do? what does that message mean? help. im really a novice when it comes to computers.

All of a sudden my computer isn't showing my F-Drive so now several of my programs wont work. I thought it was a mistake so I opened up the MY COMPUTER ICON and sure enough, the F-Drive is missing. I don't know anything about computers so I don't want to take it apart. Is there any way to find it just using my keyboard/mouse?

My pc was slowing down, so I reformatted and reinstalled XP and the rest of my software. My problem is that I have two other hard drives, and now, although they are detected in the BIOS and show up in Device Manager, Windows XP cannot see them.
I'd like a solution that DOESN'T involve reformatting them, as they have loads of music and other data on them.

hi every1..

i'm havin trouble recently with my computer, when i press the power button, i hear the computer working but nothing appears on the screen, i thought it might be the screen so i tried it on another monitor, still didn't work, wut could be wrong??

it's not a laptop..

- i hear no beeps when the cpu starts..
- the LEDs on the keyboard doesn't light at all.
- The fans r running and i think the hard is running too..

I've got Plextor PX-712A DVD Rewriter and was working fine until recently. The problem I have it that the device reads and writes CD's and DVD's fine but has only problem reading and writing CD-RW's. The thing just wont read and just keep blinking over and over.
It writes fine bot DVD+R/RW and DVD-R/RW and CD-R's as well but when it comes to CD-RW it just wont read. Please help me because my warranty on the product just expired a few weeks back.

I was just given a shiny used Vodaphone G3/GPRS card for my Dell D610 Laptop. When I insert the card it sees the card as a G3/GPRS card. I am now stuck. How do I set up the card to work? I am using SuSE Enterprise Linux Desktop (SLED) 10.
