You should check out computer expo's that is probably the best place.

When buying things like this from ebay you have to be careful.

I found Dabs to be the best place for graphics cards.
(you might have to look hard for one that goes cheep-cheep!)

you wont get any cheaper than http://www.dabs.com/,they have cards ranging from the radeon 7000 for £17 to the latest x1900 series for arouind £400
they also do a great range of motherboards,hard drives,sound cards and tft monitors
