i have a new bluetooth enabled logitech V270 coordless mouse. my notebook came with bluetooth hardware installed, however there is no device drivers. i have downloaded device drivers and none of them seem to work. it asks me to "plug the device into the computer," which is totally wrong because it is a wireless mouse w/o an adapter or docking station. I need help!!! Is there some kind of driver i can get that actually works...?

U've not listed ur notebook make!
Isn't there driver given on CD which came with ur mouse & as far as I know it should have come with a bluetooth adapter to connect to ur PC!
Anyways u can check for the driver on ur notebook's company support website!
If it doesn't work then try for default built in bluetooth driver of WinXP,which is mostly not functional with inbuilt bluetooth cards on notebooks but wats there in trying?

And lastly wat u can do is buy a bluetooth doongle/adapter to connect ur mouse to your PC!

Not really. The mouse should have come with a CD. If not, try going into your bluetooth program and find the option that says discover devices. If this doesn't work, contact the manufacturer of the bluetooth device. Bluetooth is a standard, not a company. Many companies treat it different, and maybe wrong. Some companies sell bluetooth devices, but do not know the technology.

The system won't just see the device, you have to turn blutooth on and sync it with the mouse. Read the instructions (readme file) that tell you how to turn on bluetooth on your laptop so it will search for active bluetooth components. The mouse will have to be on also before the system will find it.
