when i turn on my pc it shows hardware install but then when i click ok it says unable to find device

Try reinstalling the driver ,If you dont have it you can probably download it from the company website. Make sure you have the model and serial numbers handy when you go to make sure you get the right driver for you hardware.

Try moving the sound card to a different port on your computer......make sure its one that it will fit in.........if this doesnt help then you could try downloading Generic Vortex 8830 Drivers......
