...only my main computer and laptop can access it? I don't want strangers accessing the wireless network.

Both the computer and the laptop are wireless (the acutally wireless dsl gateway is downstairs while the computer and laptop are upstairs- how ever if needed I can connected the ethernet cable to my laptop to do what I have to do)

The Gateway is an Actiontec and the model is a gt704-wg... plz help! thanks bunches!!! if you can give me a site or detailed steps that would be great! thanks again!!!

Whereas on my Windows XP at home, I can add and remove things from the flash drive. If I try the same on Mac, a sign states that it's a Read Only disk with no other information. Why does this happen? Is there any way around this? Thank you!

I downloaded a version from MS but when I try to run it on my home PC, it says "MSVCR71.dll was not found" What the he!! does that mean? And of course HPs customer service/tech support live instant chat isn't available on Sundays! I just want to sync....HELP! Please....

When i choose the option Unplug/eject hardware and click Stop, the msg Your USB can now be removed safely, appears but even before i click Ok the system restarts. Please help.

My computer was given to me so I do not have the windows 98 cd rom the web cam installation requires. What can I do to get my new hardware working? I was told I can download windows 98 but I've been unsuccessful in locating it. Anyone have a link they can send me? Okay so, I made a post the other day about my computer shutting off whenever my phone rang. I have a cordless phone with a DSL modem, and I've had my cordless phone sitting right beside my monitor for about 6 months, and just recently it started freezing and turning off. Well I finally realized it was my phone that was freezing and turning off my computer, so I moved my phone across my room.. that's about 10 feet away, and for the past two days my computer hadn't froze/turned off once. Then today, it was storming pretty badly out so I turned my computer off for about 40 minutes, when I turned it back on it started freezing and turning off again. I just took the battery out of my phone to see if that would help but whenever the cordless phone downstairs would ring, it'd still freeze up and turn off.
So, does anybody know what it is that I might be able to repair on my computer to make it stop the freezings? Or is it pretty much ruined?
