Uhm, might it not be SOHW-812S?

The SOHW is the first part of the model number of a drive manufacturerd by the LITEON company.

At catagory select optical storage and then select SOHW-812S from teh drop down menu at MODEL NUMBER, and your a way for the firmware.

Drivers are not needed for any operating system, except dos. for Dos you can use Adaptec or Oakrom generic drives (i think).
