Only your computer specs can answer that question. Certain computers and motherboards, can only handle a certain ammount of ram. And iin most cases only certain kinds of grafic cards will work with the motherboard that your computer is using.

I would say 100% chance you can upgrade your RAM unless you have over 2 gig.
I have two gig in mine now and I am only using two of the four memory slots.
Upgrading your RAM will give your PC a real boost. Go for it!

Most computer manufacturers have a support link at their home page. Once you get into support, you will probably find a section that talks about upgrades. You'll be able to find out what's available for your specific model. Some sites even have a free scan that tells you what you have and what you can get.

Just look up your system or motherboard at the makers web site to get the maximum ram supported. Crucial.com has a tool that works ok but sometimes over reports how much ram a system will take.

Your best bet is to go to your computer manufacturer's website and check for your computer model. The site should have a list of "available upgrades" for it. But I recommend you not buy from manufacturer, you can buy cheaper elsewhere.
