Click in my computer it does not shows, but I can still play music through winamp and I have Roxio installed. My DVD drive is also not working. I used Device Manager, both drives have a question mark beside them, I uninstalled and try to reinstall and it did not fix the problem. When I insert a cd it goes through all the motions cd drive lights work but that is it.

One of my computers has a CD drive that will not work the way it should... I beleive it is a new 52x cd drive and it doesn't have any writing capabilities... I recently installed XP on my computer and when I did that... the drive wa working fine... But now for some reason... It won't read... The computer recognizes it's there but is not receiving any information that there is a disk in the drive... Please DO NOT RESPOND WITH ANYTHING THAT SAYS OR REALTES TO 'check the cables or connections or is everything hooked up right or the right drivers' or some crap like that... Yes i've checked the wires and the cables and the connections... I just would like to hear some reasons that might be the cause of this...

i have a motorola phone v220 right. so i got pictures on and want to transfer them to my pc. i plug it in my pc windows recognises it but can't install the drivers. where can i get the drivers. i search the internet but keep getting these question forums that don't help. also i would like to get the sofware please help. cuz i'm in honduras

I can't move my mouse! There is nothing wrong with it, it hasn't fallen or anything like that. I was simply going on a site when I couldn't move my mouse! Please do not laugh! This is serious! By the way, I know this question shouldn't be at hardware, but I just couldn't put it somewhere else since I can't move my mouse. And I hardly even got here to write this question!

the modem cannot be locked possible system error might require reboot to reuse modem. i have clicked start the clicked restart but its still the same. please do a step by step has im hopeless at pcs thank you for your help.

i have a dvd drive in my computer and it used to work perfectly but now i dont know what happened it doest want to play dvds at all it plays anytin else but a dvd. it doesnt read da dvd disc and i dnt no y it used to be perfectly fine before.......

I'm on a Thinkpad T40 which I know should have USB2.0, yet any time I try to use my Flash Drive it says, "This device could perform faster... if you connected to a USB 2.0 port" which it should already be in.

I currently have a PC running WinXP and an external hard drive with various files on it, including home movies (in .mpg, .mpeg, or .avi format). I'm looking at getting a MacBook Pro and am wondering if those PC files on the external HD would be recognized and usable on the MacBook (assuming the HD is FAT32 formatted)?
