the modem cannot be locked possible system error might require reboot to reuse modem. i have clicked start the clicked restart but its still the same. please do a step by step has im hopeless at pcs thank you for your help.

Hi,go to start,click control panel, double click modems,click open,click on modems top of page. Check to see if your modem is in the list,if not Get out of control panel,close all windows.Then re-install your modem,.Do you have a disc? If not,go back into control panel,go to add hardware,if you don't have a disc you can type in your modem or select it from a list. Hope this works for you..!!
