Start with a virus scan first. You should have virus software if you download anything or read e-mail on-line.
The most likely problem is a hardware one, so replace the mouse. I went thru 3 mouses trying to fix that problem and found out the trouble was the adaptor between the computer plug and the mouse plug, so replace that if you have one.
If that doesn't work then run a spyware search. I recommend SpyBot Search and destroy, it's free. http://www.spybot.info/

mine did that... i would have to right click on the desktop page and it would finally come up. You probably need to restore your computer to a previous date

i think it is a virus... do an online scan...if not a virus do a llf, fdisk, format reinstall after backing up all drivers and data
