To make more room on your computer you should:

Defragment it weekly. to do this you click on START, ALL PROGRAMS, ACCESSORIES, SYSTEM TOOLS, DISK DEFRAGMENTOR. this sorts all of your files so that your computer is a little less jumbled.

You should also do disk cleanup. this can be found in the System Tools as well. Follow the steps and check all of the boxes you dont want. usually only un-need files are shown.

also you should go to your control panel and go to add/ remove programs. it will show you a list of all the programs on your computer. any programs that you dont use you should remove. (do this before you run your defragmentor)

To get to your task manager hold down CTRL ALT DELETE

(by the way if you dont ordinarily defragment your computer it will take a couple of hours but you can run other programs while its running)

'ctrl' 'alt' 'delete' (all at the same time) and then chose task manager- in XP in other versions- it should come up just by hitting "ctrl' Alt delete- This is known as the three finger Microsoft salute. Holding down all three buttons for too long will reboot your computer in the earlier versions of Windows
