What would the correct percentage of drive be for OS?

Would a 2nd hard drive used only for the OS serve the same purpose?

Using older programs on current WIndows XP. I will replace my PC soon. Should new PC have FAT32 or NTFS? Or does it matter? I will be upgrading some programs and keeping some older ones.

HELP ME!

I have only had my NEW Dell Dimension 5100C for about a year or so and I love it. But today it went kah-put on me.

After getting my OLD dell computer up and running, disabling norton (per a tech support friend of mine's advice), and connecting both computers (old & new dells) to my super-old Microsoft router, I suddenly cannot power up my NEW dell!!! I press the power button and nothing happens at all.

And please don't be a wise guy/gal and ask if it is plugged in (DUH, it is)! I completely unhooked everything going into it except for the power cord & monitor cable.

How can I figure out why it won't power up? Will I lose my data? Did it get a virus from my old dell, which was acting strangely (explorer was crashing all of the time so I reinstalled my operating system, XP HOME).

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Mine is 640MB. What's yours?
Go to start, right click My Computer, click properties, and see how much is your RAM on your computer.

I keep all of my music on an external hard drive. For some reason, it decided to redub itself Drive K: instead of Drive I:. So now iTunes can't find any of my music because Drive I: doesn't exist anymore. Is there anyway I can rename the drive or have iTunes refind my music without going through each song and re-adding it?

My computer has been freezing up and turning off a lot lately, and I had thought it might had been a virus or needing a new fan in my CPU, but I noticed last night that whenever my phone rang, my computer would freeze up and shut off. My phone was on the same desk as my computer, I then moved the phone across the room and my computer hasn't froze or turned off now a while, does anybody know the cause of this?
