I jus need to know because I think mine is underclocked.

You could probably overclock it to 2.2GHZ
Either way if you try and overclock it too high, it will just shut down the computer due to getting too hot, just don't overdo it.
If you recently upgraded just your processor. This could be the problem.

It should run at 1.8 Ghz. I do not recommend overclocking it unless you know what you are doing. Windows XP should run fine at that speed. Today's processors are not just about the clock speed, but many other factors of the chip make them more efficient than older processors.

You don't get an underclocked processor. Its not possible if its new. :)
