I am using the s-video connection along with audio cables. The audio works fine, but I don't have a picture. Is there settings I'm not doing? Please help.

I have a packard bell r1938 laptop and all of a sudden my touch pad does not work. I have uninstalled then reinstalled the driver and still nothing! Any help?

its an HP Pavilion dv5000 and it works great, the only thing that bothers me is that when I start it up, and Windows XP is loading, and you hear that music, it skips, it sounds like ****.. WHY?

the fan keeps coming on one of the fans are at the bottom of the laptop and one on the side seems when i put it on my lap the fan is hole is covered so there the fan comes on, not sure what type of dell computer just got from a friend so i dnt have the specifics

whether I burn the cd with the Nero program or the Yahoo music program I cannot get any source other than the computer to read it. I am burning audio cd format and not mp3 or any other file. It's really confusing to me. I have burned on sonny rw discs and well as memorex cd-rw. What must I do.

The disk drive wasn't working, and then it make a loud whirring sound and now it won't open or let me eject a disk. I want to try opening the laptop to get the disk out, but my wife wants me to take it to a service center. Am I likely to hurt the computer if I unscrew the screws and open it up?

Ok, I posted a question a little while back that my laptops hard drive is failing, now I don't think it's a hard drive problem. It is a Compaq Presario V5000 btw. Ok, on to the problem. I think there is something with my mouse or pointing device, I got a new mouse the other day and it works fine, I think the problem is coming from the touch pad, is there any way I can disable it, I couldn't find how to in the control panel? It is going crazy having a mind of its own, lol. It keeps on right clicking itself and popping up windows that i'm not doing. I have all kinds of stuff on my favorites that I didn't add to it, and it is cancelling my messages I am writing, it usually waits til I have typed everything and then goes crazy and exits. Any advice helps, the computer is only 4 months old.

I have a compaq notebook with installed DVDplayer/CD RW with it, and I have power DVD player and Nero CD burner. In the beginning,
I can watch DVD and I can burn my pictures ( images) into any CD with it.
But After 5-6 months , I cant burn CD nor read any of my previous burnt CD ( to view my older pictures) no longer, even though I still able to watch DVD
What suprises me is , when I insert any CD in it ,empty or written ( outside DVD), the properties it shows is : 0
( it not showing the CD's statistics, nor memory in it, as if there's no CD at all inside the device )
It's a Samsung DVD/CD RW.
Anybody can help my problem? is it a software problems? or what?

I have "Toshiba Satellite A55 model". Previously its fn (function) key is working. After some time i have updated Toshiba Utility related software for "satellite A55 Model" from Toshiba Website. After this upgradation my Toshiba Laptop "fn key" is not working. Please help what i have to do ?
