She had to reload programs and can not load word-perfect office 12 because she does not have key or product number.

If she bought the computer and registered it with Dell, They should be able to help her. That is why all KEY CODES should be written down and kept in a separate place from the disks. I use a loose leaf notebook and write everything down in it.

Buy it again. This time, don't lose that number. (This is no different then losing anything else of high value, so don't be so careless next time).
You just might be able to call the tech support people at Word Perfect and BEG to get that number. I hope that your friend had Registered the product.

DELL would not have the code for that... its better if ur friend contacts corel for it... coz corel is the one which manufactures the word perfect...

Open Office will get your "friend" by until they can afford to buy it again or M$ Office.
