I just reloaded windows xp home on my new hard drive and setup asked me how big of a partition I wanted . It says I have 114 gigs of space so I said to use a 14 gig partition for windows leaving 100 gigs of space for storage but now when I go to my computer it shows that there is no other drive other than the 14 gig drive, now I have 100 gigs of missing space on my harddrive because the computer says it's not there. What do I do ?

Simple question! I LOVE Mac's - they're so much easier to use than those HUGE clangy PeeCee's! My advice - if you haven't tried a Mac (running Mac OS X 10.4) try it!!!!

And I have used PC's for 6 years - its only recently that I have switched to Mac, and oh, how much better it is!

I'm looking for a new family computer and would like to get something decent but cheap if possible. The main things the computer will be used for is emailing, surfing the net, kids like to watch videos from the net, listening to music, play the sims, paintshop pro and uploading pics from our camera. I see the emachines are pretty cheap but read lots of negative reviews on here for them. Any help is really appreciated...

I am trying to find a video card that will be suitable for my daily use. I want to install a dual monitor video card and I am not sure where to begin. There are cards (dual monitor) that cost between $50 - $300 dollars so I am not sure which should I choose. What should I look for when buying a video card?

I don't plan to play any video games nor movies, I am using it for mainly school and office work.

Can any one of you help me with this question? I'm planning to buy the card this weekend. Please help.

In your opinion, what is the best type of ATX desktop case for a first time PC builder. Money is not really an issue, probably around $100. I have been looking at the Thermaltake Tsunami. Any thoughts?

My kids and I play toontown online and never had a problem with it until recently it's like my computer doesn't have enough RAM to play the game. My computer is by no means a new one but it has 256 RAM and according to the website that should be plenty. I have no viruses and tons of space on my hard drive and everything else seems to run fine, maybe a little slow but nothing major. When I turn off the music and sound effects the game runs better but it's still very slow.
Any ideas what might be wrong other than my computer is a piece of crap.

My mother's pc is connecting to the internet, however IE won't load. The page comes up blank and just reads as "IE is connecting". It seems to freeze the pc and shut down is necessary. I cannot access any website from her pc, and even Norton's freezes when trying a Live Update. Any idea of what the problem is and how I can fix it?
