Simple question! I LOVE Mac's - they're so much easier to use than those HUGE clangy PeeCee's! My advice - if you haven't tried a Mac (running Mac OS X 10.4) try it!!!!
And I have used PC's for 6 years - its only recently that I have switched to Mac, and oh, how much better it is!

MAC by a country mile!
Been on a Mac since 88 and had the misfortune of having to work on a PC (actually an acromyn for a dirty word – pre **m) for two years. Would have rather had my eyelids glued shut for those two years.
Macs are expensive and worth every nickle. You don't get a Mac, a monitor, a keyboards, a scanner, a printer, a mother-board, a sister-board, inbred brother-board, truck loads of worthless software, 22-CD system installation package and a 30-year service agreement for $699.00. You get what your hard earned $5000.00 investment offers - results?
Tell a PC person you just dumped $3500.00 into a loaded G5 HD and you get the deer-in-the-headlight gaze, complete with tongue hanging out, drooling and eyes rolling back into their sockets. I recommended Macs to 15 people. They all bought PC's and are all unhappy. I told them so.
They do provide plenty of laugh though, especially with the new version "Vista" (slang for: use your Visa to by a Macintosh) coming out of the closet - a nightmare I wouldn't touch with a 10 meter cattle prod.

extra promoting, a greater promoting and marketing team, straight forward layout, homogeneity. computer is in certainty any pc no longer a mac, and of direction they are going to run the gamut in high quality/fee/layout. subsequently the only element that Macs particularly have over each computer is they're able to run Apple proprietary utility. there is likewise a picture element that i'm noticing with Macs. with the aid of their branding and promoting Macs are pointed out as "cooler" than their computer counterpart in particular subcultures. i'm for the reason that particularly some you placed down 'virus loose' as between the main significant professionals of a mac. That whether has to do with the Unix based working equipment run on the Mac somewhat than the Mac itself. If computer purchasers are so vulnerable, they are able to additionally get an epidemic loose working equipment in between the numerous Linux flavors.

MACs all the way, I used to be a PC person, but every ive secounds they wold restart fir no aparent reason and the guys at PC Medic couldn't fix them. Needles to say, i went throught MANY computers in a year, but ever scince I switched to macs last winter I avn;t had a single problem, besides, they wrk ette with the programs I use (such as Photoshop etc.) and the programs that come with them (iLife) are very handy. Oh, and they're WAY easier to use.
Oh, and "IEEDA was here", you can open more then one internet window at a time, you just ctrl+click (NOT RIZGHT CLICK!) on the safari i con and click "new window". It's not that ward.

PC. Alot of games can't play on a Mac and you can only keep one internet window up at a time. Try it, it doesn't work. You're right maybe a Mac has one or two advantages but if you talk to a Best Buy associate you get a good computer.

Macs and PCs are virtually identical from a hardware perspective, OS X is what I term "Unix for dummies". If you want to save a boatload of money, buy a PC and install your prefered linux distro on it.

You Mac users keep tellin yourself that.....the only advantage to a Mac is its somewhat idiot proof! If you rub real hard on the case, you might see the Fisher Price logo!
