That would be a very statistic to run. You would need to have some sort of device that would detect if anything got sucked into my computer's fan and you would also need to run this on many computers to prove its validity.

However, the computer fan (or the newer models, anyway) is somewhat designed to keep foreign objects, like insects, out. It has a shielding with extremely small holes through which only a flea or mosquito. So I would say 1 or 2 at the most.

That's an interesting question.

To tell you the truth, in the 10 years I have been doing PC work, I rarely see insects on PC fans. Though that is probably because they are covered with dust.

I would say probably a small amount, depending on your living situation.

I have seen computers with several big bugs inside, but I don't see many small ones. I don't think they are really attracted to computers that much. Though I find a few crawling on my monitor from time to time.

i work at a computer store where we do repairs. we dont see an awful lot of bugs in computers. a whole lot of dust, but not alot of bugs.
