I have a few questions;
A.) Can someone please explain how Bill Gates apparenly stole all Apple's ideas, and how apparently Windows Vista is like Windows version of the current iMac?
B.) How do you feel about the iPhone, which is all touch screen. Now actual keys (except sleep/wake/home).

I have a Dell Dimension 2400 (shut up) and I need some memory. Right now I am looking at "SUPER TALENT 1GB 184-Pin DDR SDRAM DDR 400 (PC 3200) Desktop Memory." Will that work? The whole DDR SDRAM thing confuses me. I know I need DDR, but I thought SDRAM was different? Aaaaaaaaah! Thanks!

Also... is around $70 a good price for this?

What Are some common problems with the power supply, I bought a new Video Card and I hooked it up to my computer but now my computer wont start up I have installed Video Cards numerous times and I have never had any problems before. It starts but normally on my computer the power light goes from orange to green, it just stays orange and you can hear a fan goin but that is all that it does. I believe that my computer does not have enough power but I am not sure I have a Dell Dimension E310. Does any one now how much power that has originally? Please help.

It works perfectly fine when I use it in Safe Mode [/with Networking] but when I shut down the computer or restart it after it being in Safe Mode Windows won't boot up. It will go through the normal startup and then right before it gets to the screen where it chimes and my cursor appears, it stops and the screen goes blank. Could it be just the monitor I need to replace or does anyone think it's the computer?.. Sometimes Windows does boot normally but for the past couple of days it hasn't.

i am trying to replace my power supply to be able to keep up with a new geforce7600GT video card. problem is, i have an hp computer, and i'm not sure if a 500W psu will fit.

i don't really understand because the hp site says that the motherboard is micro atx form fitting. does that mean i can't fit normal atx power supplies? i can't seem to find any micro-atx power supplies that are more than 300W.

here is my pc product information

I attempted to restore my pc using system restore. It was almost 30 min and it still had not finished so I shut my computer down and now it wont boot to my desktop.

My computer is a gatewat gt5404 and its windows vista home premium. Ive tried to restore it with my windows disk and it just wont work.

Is there anything I can do without re installing windows on it. For example. On my old dell you could press cntrl and f11 on boot up to restore to factory default.

Guys I really appreciate all answers. Thanks soooo much.

Peace.

I have a year old HP pavilion desktop computer that has had no problems till now. I restarted it and it would not load .. saying "disk boot failure, insert system disk and press enter" You hit enter it doesn't do anything. Also, the screen is now shaking (since this problem started) It even shakes in the BIOS settings. I have swapped several things to see if each were the cause: the monitor, power supply, and hard drive. It is definitely not any of these things. When I pop in the recovery cd it says 'no hard drive found. Pc recovery can not be continued. Press any key to continue" Now the monitor almost seems to be getting worse as it will dim out and almost get a rainbow effect on it before it brightens back up.. continuously shaking. Sometimes when restarting and attempting to power the computer on.. the monitor wont even come on and the computer never quiets down. I can tell right away that it wont power and sometimes takes several restarts before it will.
