Hi. I think I would install a second HD and put the XP on that. To switch OS just change boot order in BIOS. But yes, you should be able to remove Vista.

I tried this myself ,but unfortunately windows xp turned as windows 98 , so I uninstall xp and reinstall vista.

Yes. Its your computer and you can install any software you are licensed to use. Simply purchase a license for Microsoft Windows XP and then purchase the media to install and run!
You could also upgrade to linux for free:
