I just bought an nview luminator LCD projector. I hooked one side of the video cable into one video card on the computer and the other side of the video cable into the video card on the projector. Nothing happens, and the projector just stays on the logo screen. What am I doing wrong? Is my resolution too high or something. I have windows xp. I also cannot put my color scheme down under 16 bit, and the lowest my computer will go is 600 x 800. Why will my projector not recieve any images from the computer?

It's a sony vaio laptop with window's vista I just downloaded yahoo messenger and it said to restart i did so then the laptop came on again and is stuck with the logging off forever! since we have abt 4 accounts.. me, my sister, and both my parents can anyone help?

I have lots of RAM installed on my PC, and i was wondering that if there is a way to redistribute some of it to my graphic card and make it into VRAM. If it is possible, how can you do it?

PS: Can you do it the other way around?? (redistribute VRAM to RAM)??

I have a Dell computer and I have just brought a karaoke style mic which I have plugged into the mic input socket at the front of the computer, the mic is switched on and all the things on the sound controls are up? Any ideas??

When I turn on the PC. I get this message.

"Non-system disk error or disk error,
Replace or strike any key to continue."

However, nothing happens? I just keep getting the same error message?

ive check to see if a brand new mic works on the computer and it doesnt so that tells me its my computer that isnt letting the microphone work. I use ventrilo alot with my mic and thats why i want it to work so i can talk on ventrilo. i have a built on sound card in my mother board and a PCI slot one and the mic doesnt want to work for either sound card. plz help

I have a chance to buy a compaq laptop for $300. I was wanting to know if this brand is any good and if this is a good price. All I know is they paid $500 for it and it is basically brand new. My computer have 228 MB DDR Ram,but when i loded MICROSOFT WINDOWS XP PROFESSIONAL V.3 KOOL EDITION, MY COMPUTER SYSTEM PROPERTIES/GENERAL shows 192 MB RAM. In these days, i am facing very big problem.Now my computer became very slow. sometime i cannot to open media file like videos, FM.
