Ensure Notebook is undocked"?

I should have added, that this is in regard to a windows bios upgrade? Does it mean to disconect things like external hard drive!?

Hi. No. Some notebooks have a dock, a unit that the machine connects to for recharging and non-battery use. If you have one remove it before going in to BIOS.
