When I turn on the PC. I get this message.

"Non-system disk error or disk error,
Replace or strike any key to continue."

However, nothing happens? I just keep getting the same error message?

Does someone know what is the problem?

Some device in the boot up is being accessed before the hard drive. It used to be that this was a sign that a disk was in the floppy drive A.

I'll bet your problem is that you have a USB flash drive attached to the computer.

You can solve the problem (unless the hard drive's boot sector is bad) by going into the BIOS and changing the boot order to Hard Drive first boot device

your computer is not booting from the harddrive where your operating system is. it could be because your bios are set to boot from a removeable drive or a cdrom drive. in which case you should remove all floppy disks and cds from your computer and try again. if you are still having the same problem you need to have you computer looked at.

Your hard drive is defective or the operating system is corrupt
