my cousin put parental control and i keep trying to figure out the password but cant and she knows the passsword and wo`nt tell me.Plus she is`nt even a parent she`s 12.So does anyone know how I can find out how to get the password or take off parental control?

I just got a new computer and when i hook it up to my 17" monatior it looks all burry but when i hook another computer up to the same montior it looks good what is wrong and how do i fix it. I think it mioght be something with the res on the computer not sure and everything looks streched Also word are on top of pictures like they are out of place

Hi, I recently purchased a 512mb piece of memory for my laptop which already has 1 piece of 512mb. I shut the computer down and took out the battery and disconnected the power cord and removed the back memory case. I popped the memory into the open slot and put the case back on as well as connecting the power. When i turn the laptop on, i can hear the fan and see the power light on but nothing is on the moniter. Please help!!!

I have a 512MB 168 pin memory stick "PC133U-333-542-Z that went bad. I need to but a new one. Does a 512MB DDR PC 3200 do the job? is it back compatable with the 133 that I need to replace. Thanks

I'm using Windows XP and I have been having this sound distortion for a while. The sound crackles and distorts when playing video or when objects on screen are moved. The audio plays fine when the windows are minimized ie: I'm watching a movie, and if I minimize it, the sound is fine. Same with music, though it also plays fine if I don't move anything around onscreen.

I have an old, discontinued 3DRage Pro PCI video card (can't update drivers as the product is discontinued) and a Creative Live Soundblaster Value sound card.

I've also heard that Creative has had some conflicts with Windows XP (or so my very few results on Google told me), but I haven't found any solutions in that area either. My drivers are all updated for my sound card.

I'm replacing the graphics card anyway, to improve my system. Should I look into replacing the sound card too?

A few people asked if the pc fan was even running...
Well the problem is that when I plug it in and turn the power strip on it immediately flashes and nothing else happens. I've even held in the button!

I just bought a printer, and I'm kind of upset. I got a Canon MP160. I installed it and everything, and I noticed there is NO cords to connect the printer to the computer. It needs a USB I'm guessing. Do they expect me to have a USB-USB hanging around my house? Or maybe it comes with it, and mine just didn't feel like it. Any tips?

I have a Deskjet 612 C HP and the top light keeps blinking and won't print. I think it needs the cartridges realigned but not sure how; the instructions for this are on the help menu but it won't align according to these instructions.

I'm using a 1.1 usb hub, my computer has 2.0 usb ports, I have a bunch of stuff connected, like 6 or 7 things and when I try to add another thing, it says bandwidth exceeded try changing to another controller.

If I get a 2.0 hub, will that fix the problem.
