neither. Asus has laptops that can beat them in every way, and still be less expensive. They also come wit a FREE 2 year parts and labor warranty!
An example would be this Asus:

Which is $1300. the same thing from dell would be $2144 (looked it up just for you) without the warranty!

I would go with Dell. More reliable, no my personal choice ( I currently have a lenovo) but to answer your question, Dell

They both s.u.c.k. in my opinion... try H.P. Pavilion... Or an IBM laptop.... much better choice.
