with the new computer in place, right-click on your desktop background and go to properties. play around with the settings. it you can't get it to look any better, maybe its your graphics card. try calling your computer manufacturer and find out whats going on. since your computer is new, it should be under warranty. good luck!

Go to the Control Panel > Display and check your resolution. Try different ones and see which one is compatible between your PC and your monitor. In general, select the highest compatible resolution.

The updated Internet Explorer 7.0 is using a new font rendering scheme that blurs the edges. There are settings for it somewhere. Good luck.

Hi. Right-click on a blank area of your desktop and click on the 'settings' tab. try different resolutions and click 'Apply', NOT "OK". Apply will go back to the original setting after 15 seconds if it doesn't work.
